The 2011 RSCS season is the twelfth in its history. Continental TIre became the official tire of the series, and also replaced KONI as the sponsor for the RSCS support series, the Grand-Am Cup Series. The season began with the Rolex 24 at Daytona on January 29th, and finished at the EMCO Gears Classic on September 17th.

The 2011 RSCS schedule featured 12 rounds. Road America and Laguna Seca were put back into the schedule, and a second race at Daytona and Miller Motorsports Park which were featured in 2010 did not return for 2011.
